Covid-19 Ready – Health Screen
Covid-19 Ready is a screening programme to identify areas of vulnerability to the Covid-19 virus. This is a new virus and we are learning news things about it all of the time.
Initially thought to be a respiratory disease the medical evidence is showing that Covid-19 is most dangerous for people with metabolic disorders like Diabetes, Hypertension, Kidney Disease among others and Vitamin D deficiency is thought to be linked with the risk to the BAME communities.
It is important that Vitamin D deficiency is understood alongside a renal function test.
Covid-19 Ready Screening is just £495 and includes baseline of blood tests, doctors consultation and repeat testing. Click here to find out more and to book your Covid-19 Screen today.
You will be given the option of booking either a Covid-19 RT-PCR Test or a Covid-19 Antibody test.
Please carefully read the differences in these tests below and contact us if you would like further information.
The RT-PCR test is the gold standard for providing a positive or negative result for patients with a current Covid-19 infection. This is the same test used by The NHS for testing current infection.
If you are currently experiencing symptoms or have been in contact with a person now infected you should implement the government recommended guidelines for isolating. Please click here for symptoms and latest guidance.
A swab is used to wipe the back of the throat and nose to detect a current infection.
It is very important to follow the instructions for taking the swab. Incorrect swabbing can provide inaccurate results.
Samples should be taken from symptomatic patients between days 1-5 from onset of symptoms.
An approved PHE Antibody Test for Covid-19.

Antibody test should be carried out 14 – 21 days post onset of symptoms.
This test will tell you if you have ever developed or been exposed to the Covid-19 virus and have subsequently developed antibodies. Both IgM and IgG are tested. This test uses CLIA technology and may also indicate a current infection and re-testing for Covid-19 antibodies will be offered.
Antibody test should be carried out 14 – 21 days post onset of symptoms for most reliable results
