Anti-Ageing Injectables and Dermal Fillers

Our treatment portfolio is delivered by medically qualified clinicians.

What is Botox®?

Botox® is a specific brand name of a naturally derived, purified protein that is used to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles. This results in a smoother and naturally rejuvenated appearance. It has been used in the cosmetic industry for over 20 years, in over 70 countries, and has fast become one of the UK’s most popular cosmetic treatment.

What are lip fillers?

Skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid (HA) which keeps the skin full, plump and young. Lip filler is a naturally occurring hyaluronic acid gel that mimics this to instantly plump and define the lips. At The Female Health Clinic we only uses the most advanced range of dermal fillers (Perfectha®, Restylane® and Belotero™) to ensure safe, long lasting and natural looking results.

How can we help?

We have a great portfolio of treatments to help soften wrinkles, frown lines and crows feet and to shape, lift and refine areas that cause an ageing effect.

Our experienced clinicians can inject around the eyebrow area to change the shape to give a nice wide eyed appearance.

Other areas on the face can also be softened.

At The Female Health Clinic we believe in naturally and gently enhancing what you already have. Some of our most popular treatments are listed below but get in touch today if you would like to discuss further with one of medical clinicians. Initial consultations are free of charge with no obligations.

Profhilo

From £325

Profhilo skin boosters are ultrapure hyaluronic acid (HA), which gives you a natural glow from beneath the skin, as well as the ultimate hydration.

Profhilo is more than just a skin booster, as it not only hydrates the skin, but within weeks it also remodels the texture of the skin by stimulating collagen.

Profhilo will also improve your skin tone and restore the elasticity of sagging and ageing skin – giving the skin a tighter and more plumper appearance.

Profhilo can be used to treat many areas including the face, neck, décolletage, hands and arms.

Facial Balancing combines several different non-invasive procedures to balance your features and is especially effective for the profile.

This is particularly beneficial if you have any asymmetry to the face.

Nefertiti Neck Lift

£360

You may be interested in a Nefertiti neck lift if you want to reverse the signs of ageing along your lower face, jaw, and neck.

The results last several months and may help you delay or skip a more invasive type of cosmetic surgery, such as a face lift.

What is a Nefertiti neck lift?

A Nefertiti neck lift is a cosmetic procedure performed with botulinum toxin injections in the lower part of your face, jaw, and neck.

The procedure’s name refers to the ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, known for her elongated, thin neck.

The Nefertiti neck lift targets the platysma band of muscles that run vertically from the bottom of the face to your collarbone.

A qualified clinician will inject botulinum toxin into specific parts of this muscle to:

  • lessen lines around the bottom part of the face
  • smooth dimpled skin on the chin
  • erase or reduce folds or sagging of the lower part of the face
  • even out the symmetry of the lower face, jaw, and neck
  • remove lines on the neck
  • create a more pronounced definition of the jaw

A Nefertiti neck lift is a temporary way to restore a youthful look without surgery.

Tear Trough

£450

A tear trough is the crease between the lower eyelid and upper cheek.

It can cast a shadow below your eyes, resulting in a tired appearance. Some people think their tear troughs make them look older. In certain individuals, tear troughs are an inherited trait.

In others, tear troughs become more prominent with age.

If they are so severe that makeup isn’t enough there is a non-surgical tear trough treatment that can significantly reduce or eliminate them. This is accomplished by injecting fillers into the area.

Gummy Smile

£290

Some people feel that when they smile they show too much of their gums, or that their gums are simply too prominent when they smile – this is often referred to as a ‘gummy smile’.

Gummy Smile is a phenomenon that when some people smile, their upper lip elevates too far above their upper teeth, exposing gums and producing an unattractive smile. One of the causes is a hyperactive muscle which elevates the upper lip. Occasionally, the gummy smile is also aggravated by a thin upper lip that further contributes to the problem by exposing the upper gum even more.

Complementary treatments including teeth whitening using the Enlighten programme along with lip filler to complete the transition.

Jawline Slimming / Teeth Grinding / Clenching

£360

Jawline slimming – or masseters reduction for cosmetic purposes – is a simple yet effective procedure that involves the injection of the Botox into the large masseter muscles to create a slim and more feminine jawline.

The masseter muscles are the muscles that are attached at the angle of your jaw and control all the movements related to chewing food. For some people, strong jaw muscles are part of their normal anatomy. However, for others a square jaw line is the result of a condition called bruxism, which causes excessive teeth grinding or clenching.

With overuse from habitual teeth grinding, the masseter muscles become over developed and more pronounced, causing the shape of the lower face to alter and acquire that strong ‘square-jawed’ look (along with other painful and potentially more serious symptoms).

Our experienced Dentist and member of the General Dental Council Sara Baraka offers an initial consultation to examine your case and discuss a variety of treatment options.

Botulinum toxin can soften the appearance of the jawline, leading to dramatic changes in face shape after regular treatment. A slimmer jawline also results in more prominent cheekbones and chin, which are especially important for women, who typically want high cheekbones and a clean jawline.

Underarm Hyperhidrosis

£450

Underarm excessive sweating, also called axillary hyperhidrosis, is an uncontrollable, annoying, embarrassing, and isolating problem.

From the discomfort of sweat running down your sides, to the embarrassment of obvious sweat stains, to the fear of being “discovered,” uncontrollable underarm sweating can feel like it’s ruining your life.

The first line-of-defense against excessive underarm sweating are antiperspirants. Antiperspirants are non-invasive, topical (applied on top of your skin), and available in a number of different strengths including “regular” over-the-counter products, “clinical strength” over-the-counter products, and perhaps even prescription antiperspirants.

If antiperspirants don’t give you the relief you need your next option may be Botox.

An experienced medical professional can inject Botox into your underarms to dramatically reduce sweating. In one clinical study involving 322 patients with severe underarm sweating, 81% of the patients receiving injections achieved more than 50% reduction in sweating. And, 50% of the patients had their excessive sweating relieved for at least 201 days (nearly 7 months). Some, for over a year.

Treatment is most effective when performed by a clinician who has received special training and who has experience with the procedure.
